Saturday, May 30 from 8:00am to noon.   Every year, the museum holds a spring yard and plant sale – a GREAT time to get some of our perennial, home grown plants to add to your own yard.  Some of these are grown from cuttings of plants in the museum gardens – and we have direct descendants of Martha Washington’s lemon trees and boxwood from Mt. Vernon.  You can always find an interesting bargain in the yard sale – or 2 – or 3 – or more!   See something you like in the yard sale, make an offer!  We'll be undercover, so it's Rain or Shine!

Clue Photo.jpg

Enjoyed by everyone who comes!  Set in a historic period, you find yourself in the midst of a murder.  Come and put your sleuthing skills to work.  Every year, a disaster strikes.  Take your score card and walk through the rooms – where something has gone wrong!  Question anyone who is alive!!  They may (or may not) give you good information.  Look carefully for the clue that will tell you which scene is a murder!  Then, turn in your score card.  All correct answers go into a hat for a drawing for a prize.  It is a fun, family night (NO gore to scare the little ones.)

Saturday, October 24 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm (last visitor at 7:00pm).

Admission $5.00 per person

Decorations change every year - how will the "Morris House" (of the "Gilded Age") mantel be decorated this year?

Clouds Hill is decorated for the holidays – the decorations in each room change each year.  If you watched “THE GILDED AGE” come and see how Alderman Morris’ parlor and library look this year.  Decorations will be up between December 12 and January 2, 2027.
