TO THE LOCAL HARVEST AND YOU!
of autumn brought a chill to the air but on Saturday, October 3, 2015, the tent was warm, the food was incredible and the
guests - well, we could never say enough about our supporters!
That is the day that Clouds Hill
Victorian House Museum hosted its' 3rd Annual Harvest Supper Fundraiser. More than 75 people enjoyed a cocktail hour
of special cider drinks and hors d'oeuvres and, after a short presentation by Matt & Wendy Knowlton of Timberdoodle Farm,
a wonderful buffet meal, prepared by Tom's Market Catering and featuring items donated by local farms and businesses. The
evening included wines from ShelaLara Vineyards & Winery in Coventry, a small silent and live auction and, in keeping
with our theme for this year, a very well received scarecrow decorating competition. The evening raised $10,000 for
Clouds Hill Victorian House Museum and all proceeds are used to support the continued preservation of the museum.
Donations to the evening came
from Bailey Brook Farm, East Greenwich - Narragansett Creamery, Providence - Timberdoodle Farm, Scituate – Crow’s
Nest, Warwick and local artists: Daniel Dragon of Dragon Wood Turners and Marty Pena of Art by Pena, and many more.
your calendar now, send us your mailing information so we may send you an invitation and join us this year - Saturday, October
1, 2016, when our theme will be the pumpkin!
